Stevia?

FRESH STEVIA LEAVES
This form of stevia is the herb in its most natural, unrefined state. A leaf picked from a stevia plant and chewed will impart an extremely sweet taste sensation reminiscent of licorice that lasts for quite a while.

For stevia to have a more practical application as a tea or sweetener, the leaves must be dried or put through an extraction process, which makes the sweet taste even more potent.

Just like any other food the purest is always the best no matter what. So the same is said for stevia you can use it but make sure your not using the refined white drug like mixture found after process.
Of course this applies to many other foods and sugar in general, changing this principal will enhance your life and possibly change it.

Don't be afraid of making better choices, you can't find substance at a drive through window. Food that is made with care from the finest ingredients will benefit your body the greatest.

MMMM.......Breakfast!

The Old Cliché Is Still True: Breakfast Is the Most Important Meal of the Day

The looming health threat of global obesity, or “globesity,” is a chief reason why I embarked on the Perfect Weight America tour. If we don’t get a handle on our national obesity crisis, I hate to think what could happen. And obesity doesn’t affect only adults. Kids are growing fatter by the day too—even kids who skip breakfast. So, if your teen skips breakfast, then here are some findings you might be interested in.

Recently in Pediatrics magazine, Mark Pereira of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health announced the results of a study showing that adolescents who skip breakfast have a higher chance of being overweight.

The study followed 2,000 adolescents for five years. The participants filled out detailed surveys on what they ate and when they ate, and also provided information on their height, weight, BMI, and level of physical activity. The bottom line: the more often that teens ate breakfast, the less likely they were going to be overweight or obese.

Believe me, teens are like adults when they skip breakfast. Soon . . . maybe ten o’clock, maybe noontime, they’re going to get very hungry. When that happens, they’ll snack on a candy bar in their locker, or grab a soft drink from the vending machine, or reach in their pocket for their favorite candy. The sugar spike is just a Band-Aid over their hunger, and when the lunch bell rings, they rush to the school cafeteria, where they choose from a menu consisting of chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, or pizza. Dessert might be a piece of coconut crème pie or an ice cream sandwich.

“Grandma and Mom are right,” said Dr. Peter Richel, chief of pediatrics at Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mount Kisco, New York. “When we skip breakfast, especially in the teenage years, then kids tend to snack and graze.” And overeat, I might add.

A wise parent will be proactive in this area and make breakfast a priority in the home. What makes a good breakfast? You should serve cut up slices of fruit (berries, peaches, or pineapple, etc.) with yogurt made from organic milk that’s preferably non-homogenized or non-pasteurized. Organic cottage cheese would be good, too. Or, you can mix the following ingredients in a blender and make a wonderful smoothie. Here’s a quick recipe: mix eight ounces of plain whole milk, yogurt or kefir with 1 tablespoon honey, a half-cup of fresh or frozen fruit, 1 teaspoon of flaxseed oil, and 1 serving of protein powder. This smoothie is quick and easy to prepare.

If your teens are cereal persons, I recommend a brand called Ezekiel 4:9. I would prefer that they eat their cereal over yogurt or kefir rather than milk. Scrambling a couple of omega-3 or organic eggs makes for an excellent breakfast as well. You can add some raw cheddar or jack cheese to the eggs to give them some added flavor. Some even garnish with some organic salsa.

Your teens may think that they will keep the pounds off by skipping breakfast, which, in their minds, is the same as skipping calories. But this study demonstrates the Law of Unintended Consequences, which is that skipping what some call “the most important meal of the day” just makes you hungrier later on, and that’s when you’re likely to consume some really lousy foods.

And that’s a recipe for losing the Battle of the Bulge and gaining unhealthy weight.

Extraordinary Health

Is a right of passage and knowing its out there should make all of you want to seek it or at least defend its right to be a topic of discussion.
There are many of people out there that have experienced this extraordinary health and now know the difference between a drug prescribing medical joke and life with whole health the way God intended.
Maybe this is a war on God if so I guess I should expect that but I still am outraged and want you all to know that people are being discredited for making people healthy using the Bible while doctors get rich prescribing drugs for a dieing culture!

Cardio

Why is a cardio workout a must?

Well because when you are trying to lose weight one of the best ways is through cardio. What your body needs is to have your heart rate up higher than your calorie intake for the day. If you can do this you need to keep it up for 30-60 minutes depending on your weight and your goals. The calories you are burning are from years of build up of things your body does not recognize as a proper food source.

Doing cardio first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, before you eat anything, is by far, the most effective. Whether you run, jog, walk, swim, jump rope, take an aerobics class, ride a bike, etc., doing it first thing in the morning is the best time to do it for maximum fat loss. Why? Its simple. When you do your cardio workout, you are burning calories. Lets say you wake up, eat breakfast, eat lunch later in the day, and then a few hours after lunch, you do your cardio. All you will be doing during that cardio is burning the calories and carbs of the food you just ate. When you do cardio first thing in the morning, you haven't eaten anything for the last 8 or so hours because you were sleeping. So, when your body sees that there are no carbs to burn, it goes directly to stored bodyfat. And stored bodyfat is the fat that is on your body, which is the fat that you want to lose!

Understand how it works? When you do your cardio sometime during the day other then first thing in the morning, you spend most of that time burning off carbs that you already ate that day. When you do it first thing in the morning, there are no carbs to burn, so all your body can burn is body fat!

So get up and get busy its one of the best ways to increase results.

Are you ready?

In the fitness business you encounter two types of people, and they both are very different. The first type of person feels like they need to change or get into shape either because some one has told them to or they are angry about a comment made from a friend or relative. They will try and fail at changing their lives, they lack the discipline, the fuel if you will.

The second type of person is very different as previously stated they have made the decision from with in. They are tired of being tired, sick of feeling sick and ready to stop making excuses. This person is motivated right from the start and will do what ever they can to do it right. They are the easiest to train and very receptive to change. They attack their goals with passion, and finally they are ready to be fit for life.

Being fit for most means making sacrifices and changing the way they view exercise. Noting that they will now have to be a different type of person then they where previously. Then making those necessary changes with constant progress and vigor. They have their down falls but they are not defined by them. Their down falls are used as fuel and turned into positives.

I invite you to dig deep and find that person, the one person that can make the tough decisions and win.

Breast Cancer

Want to Avoid Breast Cancer? Try Sunbathing
Using newly available data on worldwide cancer incidence, researchers have shown a clear association between breast cancer and a deficiency in exposure to sunlight. About 1,150,000 cases and 410,000 deaths from breast cancer occur annually worldwide.

Sunlight exposure triggers the photosynthesis of vitamin D3 in the body.

This paper used worldwide data only recently available through a new tool called GLOBOCAN, a database of cancer incidence, mortality and prevalence for 175 countries. This is the fourth paper using this tool to show a strong association between vitamin D and cancer. Previous studies examined the incidence of kidney cancer, ovarian cancer, and endometrial cancer.

This come to you from mercola.com

I find it interesting seeing how that all you here about the sun is skin cancer this or that. It is the single source for vitamin D, as it converts fats and good cholesterol at a very quick rate.
The sun is also good for weight loss, your body actually burns calories trying to regulate your temperature.

So go outside and enjoy the sun!

Lentils

I love lentils! They are great and a high source of protein some where near the 17 grams per serving range. They are very tasty if done right , we used a great recipe from whole foods. Which carries a lot of great beans that are high in protein like quinoa, black beans, and pinto beans. You will not find a better selection anywhere else!

You will want to soak your beans at least 8 hours before you cook them. This will let them sprout and become a great source of vitamins and minerals. Unlocking their life giving potential will also make it easier for you to digest. Keep this in mind when you do anything grain related.

Moo-ve over, Big Dairy!

I'm almost ready to declare victory in the government's absurd war against raw milk. In spite of the efforts of Big Dairy, as well as wrong-headed public health officials from the Federal, and State governments - demand for raw milk is actually growing.

As you well know, I'm the poster boy for the many health benefits that are found in raw (i.e., unpasteurized) milk. And thankfully the publics' growing concern about all the nasty stuff (read: chemicals, hormones, and drugs) used in commercial dairy farming has pushed them toward raw milk. I know it's the right move, and I'm happy to see that this is a growing trend.

To be sure, anyone making the switch to raw milk has to climb a mountain of misinformation to get there, which makes the increased demand for this good stuff even more impressive. First, there's the fact that the federal government and the majority of states prohibit the sale of raw milk to the public. These public health bureaucrats claim that in recent decades raw milk was responsible for sickening hundreds with bacterial illnesses such as salmonella, E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes, and others. In short: this is untrue.

In fact, as I've told you, recent milk-related outbreaks of Listeria and E. coli that caused illness and even death were caused by pasteurized milk, not raw milk (typically, the health officials didn't have much of an explanation for this). But the FDA and the CDC never let the facts get in the way of a good story. "Raw milk continues to cause outbreaks year after year," says FDA dairy "expert" John Sheehan. "It is a concern for the FDA."

Really? Or is it more of a concern that, in spite of all the money that Big Dairy's special interest lobbies pump into the government agencies, it's becoming more and more difficult for the FDA and the CDC to fight the tide of truth about raw milk. The story is getting out, no matter what they do. And I'm proud to be one of the people who's helping to spread the word.

What's more, because it's grown organically, raw milk comes with a hefty price tag: the going rate for raw milk is often north of $5 a gallon. But as so many people are discovering, this would be a bargain at twice the price.

Here's why…

DON’T TOUCH YOUR NEXT GLASS OF MILK UNTIL…

…you read this!

The crooked dairy industry is getting rich swindling you with what they call “milk”…and what I call milk-flavored poison. Most milk at supermarkets is swarming with toxic gunk so dangerous I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole…

And neither will you once you hear what I have to say right after the link…

There are many indications that raw milk consumption can relieve allergies, asthma, digestive disorders – even autism. That's a lot of power in one glass of milk. So it's no wonder that smart folks everywhere are ignoring the warnings and seeking out the small, organic dairies that sell raw milk.

It's easy to see by the growing number of dairies that sell raw milk that the demand is on the rise – big time. In Washington State alone, the number of raw milk dairies boomed from just six to 22 in just two years. And over the last five years, Massachusetts has doubled its number of raw milk dairies to a total of 24 – and this is at a time when the number of commercial dairies has been declining.

The process of pastuerization – where the milk is heated for an extended time – destroys many of the key proteins and enzymes that occur naturally in milk, and that can help the body to absorb vitamins and digest lactose. The high heat also damages the water-soluble B vitamins, which are chock-full of incredible health benefits.

Raw milk maybe off the beaten path … but it's the super highway to good health.

Moo-ving public perception about raw milk,

"Get off the saw palmetto band wagon!"

They said I was “off my rocker” to put my reputation at stake on a prostate supplement that didn’t have saw palmetto in it. Especially since I’ve been recommending it for years.

But when it comes to creating supplements with everything you need and nothing you don’t, it’s not just a matter of weeding through the junk. Sometimes it means finding new ways to bring you the nutrients you need -- but in a cheaper, easier and more effective way.

Stop paying outrageous prices for herbal prostate formulas. You have a better option -- At HALF the price!

Truths About Obesity

The Seven Truths About Obesity by obesity specialist Gus Prosch Jr., M.D.

1. If you’re obese, you have a lifetime disease.

2. Your metabolic processes will always tend to be abnormal.

3. You cannot eat what others eat and stay thin.

4. Anyone can lose weight and stay slim provided the causes of weight gain are determined, addressed, and corrected.

5. Understanding insulin metabolism is the key to losing weight intelligently.

6. There is absolutely no physiological requirement for sugar or processed foods in your diet.

7. You cannot lose weight and keep it off successfully by strictly and solely following any special diet, by taking a weight-loss pill, or by following an exercise program. To succeed, you must address all the contributing factors causing obesity. And you must make exercise and physical activity a lifetime effort.

Fast Food Counter Actions

If you absolutely have to eat fast food and I don't know why that would ever be, but if you have to here are some counter measures. First you can take some digestive enzymes but the need to be from a whole, raw food source. Second you need to take any where from 4 to 8 pro biotic tablets. These need to be anywhere from 6 trillion different types of good bacteria and higher.
Both of these will aid your body in removing the crap you just ate, and helping you to digest a bit more of it as well. My advice is to use the same rules when eating out that you do when searching for raw foods at a grocery store. Go to a grocery store instead of a fast food restaurant there never to far apart. If not, only eat things living like a salad or fruit no french fries ever! There is no excuse for you to eat those or any other deep fried heart stopper. If you want a burger eat it without the bun even though it has been proven that fast food place receive lower grade beef than other restaurants.
One thing above all else don't go to a fast food restaurant you can make it home you will be fine call it a fast if you have to, whatever it takes.
You will be better for it!

Fitness Tip

When working out focus on a muscle group and dominate it. Run your muscle to complete exhaustion then do ten more. After this you need to move on to another muscle group. Try and focus on two a day or if you are super disciplined you can do it three times a week. This will only work if you hammer your muscles hard and then you will have to do more than 2 muscle groups at a time.
I work out everyday starting with my arms and chest with some abdominal work then on day two I do my back, legs and more abdominal.
You can work your abs everyday, the never really need to rest, especially if you are working on making them look like a wash board. If you do not see a difference after about 2 weeks then you need to do more and longer.

Increase your weights and do less reps this will help you build muscle more rapidly. If you want long lean muscle do more reps with slightly less weight.
The key is to keep changing your work out styles not the muscle groups. Your body will become used to the routine in as little as two weeks.
Challenge yourself and work hard these goals are obtainable.

Empty?

If you are anybody who knows anything about fast food you know how bad for you it really is. Let me give you an example, one french fry from McDonald's has less nutritional value than a cigarette! I know that is really crazy, but it is true and the same goes for a hamburger from any fast food place.
If you take into account the amount of effort that goes into sterilizing our food you will understand that anything bleached, sprayed with chemicals, or pasteurized, is like eating nothing. Negative empty calories go no where, it is like you are eating paper, only greasier.
So where do those negative calories go? Well they end up stored in fat cells for later digestion because the body will always digest that which is raw or whole first because it needs the energy. What this does is causes your body to be in starvation mode even though you are eating food and gaining weight. Pretty crazy huh?
So if you are eating alot of processed food you are starving your body of its nutrients it needs to digest the food stored which in turn makes your body run more tired and sluggish.
Without the nutrients from food rich in vitamins and minerals you will have more body pain such as but not limited to arthritis, joints popping, headaches, backaches and lack of sleep.
Not to mention you are now heavier than you have ever been. The problem that most people have is that when they finally decide to do something about it, their metabolism is shot and their bodies can't regulate their glucose levels. Thus stripping you of the energy needed to reach any goal that pertains to weight loss.

Years and years of bad food stored up like your body is never going to eat again, thats obese America!

Soft Drinks (Satans' Syrup)

Some shocking statistics:

The average American drinks an estimated 56 gallons of soft drinks each year
One can of soda has about 10 teaspoons of sugar, 150 calories, 30 to 55 mg of caffeine, and is loaded with artificial food colors and sulphites.
Soda accounts for more than one-quarter of all drinks consumed in the United States.
In the past 10 years, soft drink consumption among children has almost doubled in the United States. Teenage boys now drink, on average, three or more cans of soda per day, and 10 percent drink seven or more cans a day.
The average for teenage girls is more than two cans of soda a day, and 10 percent drink more than five cans a day. 80
What’s wrong with soft drinks? Just about everything. First, they are loaded with sweeteners—usually high fructose corn syrup—or sugar substitutes, notable aspartame. (We have already discussed the negative effects of refined sugar on every organ and system in the body.) The sugar in soda pop is nothing but naked calories and acts as an anti-nutrient. Sugar in soft drinks accounts for 35 percent of all U.S. sugar consumption, and more than any other source, contributes to what has become a national addiction to sweet foods of all kinds.

Seems like a no brainer for me, but people are still drinking like maybe they want to die.
This information comes to you from my new study material, The Biblical Health Institute.
